Texas Tech University prides itself on being a major comprehensive research university that retains the sense of a smaller liberal arts institution. Although enrollment is over 30,000, Texas Tech students boast of one-on-one interaction with top faculty and an environment that stresses student accomplishment above all else. We're large enough to provide the best in facilities and academics, but small enough to focus on YOU. We are committed to enhancing the cultural and economic development of the state, nation, and world

Texas A&M needs to finish stronger. The Aggies have been outscored 59-35 in the second half in back-to-back losses after holding double-digit leads at halftime in each. The Aggies were ranked eighth before losing to then-No. 7 Oklahoma State two weeks ago. Texas Tech faces its toughest opponent this season. The Red Raiders are dealing with a polar opposite issue from the Aggies -- starting slowly. Though undefeated, the Red Raiders have had to play catch-up in their last two games.

Texas A&M RBs Christine Michael and Cyrus Gray vs. Texas Tech defense. Michael and Gray are in the top 43 nationally and have helped the Aggies average 223 yards per game. The Red Raiders rank No. 117 against the rush and have allowed an average of 229 yards per game on the ground. They gave up 312 yards rushing two weeks ago in a 35-34 win over to Nevada.

Texas A&M: QB Ryan Tannehill. He brings a dual threat (actually, it could be three since he started his college career at receiver). The senior is averaging 30 yards a game on the ground and 285 passing yards. He'll hope to not add another interception to the six he's already thrown.

Texas Tech: QB Seth Doege. He has a lone interception this year to go with 14 TD passes. He's averaging 329 yards a game and recently set an NCAA record for pass completion percentage (90.9 percent) with at least 40 attempts. Doege is playing his first full season since he was a sophomore in high school. Injuries to both knees kept him out junior and senior years
